On August 10, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee issued a document to implement the 5th Covid-19 vaccination phase plan.
Accordingly, 42,000 Moderna doses will be given to 21,000 older adults and those with underlying medical conditions.
47,000 AstraZeneca doses will be allocated as follows: 10,000 doses for the 2nd shots and the remaining 37,000 doses for health care workers and pandemic control volunteers; military force and pandemic control volunteers; transportation sector workers, including traffic inspectors, vehicle registration officials, high-risk staff working in railway transportation and business; regular workers at 4 State-managed fishing ports; educational staff; businesses in economic and industrial zones managed by the Management Board of Van Phong Economic Zone; businesses managed by the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs; businesses managed by the Department of Industry and Trade with 2,800 doses for shippers and 1,000 for high-risk workers at the industrial zones of Dien Phu and Dac Loc; and market vendors with priority given to those joining the model of open-air market following strict social distancing measures.
