Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has decided to implement 7-day social isolation in Nha Trang City starting from August 14 to August 20 amid the emergence of new Covid-19 cases.
Accordingly, residents are asked to remain home except essential needs; State agencies, socio-political organizations are required to have employees work from home. Agencies in charge of the pandemic control and other essential tasks assigned by to the heads of the agencies; military and medical forces are to ensure the availability of sufficient staff.
Banks and securities companies are allowed to operate at minimum level to provide essential services. Branches and transaction offices are encouraged to apply shift work in compliance with social distancing instructions.
Exceptions to the social isolation measures include businesses and organizations providing essential service in health care, pharmacy, food, food stuff, provision of meals for hospitals, quarantine areas, makeshift hospitals; businesses implementing self-contained procedures, charity kitchens; providers of electricity, water, gas and petrol; postal and communications service, public sanitation, maintenance of urban traffic and technical infrastructures; transportation of essential goods; State Treasury, funeral service, logistics service for pandemic control, volunteering and charity aid, residents leaving their homes for vaccination; quarantine hotels and some other essential services regulated by the People’s Committees of Khanh Hoa Province and Nha Trang City; Transportation businesses carrying essential goods to serve residents’ demand and pandemic prevention and control; materials and finished products for production, import and export; logistics service; and businesses meeting the requirement of "3 in one spot".
