Dairy donation program launched amid Covid-19

Khanh Hoa Women’s Union held a ceremony to launch a dairy donation program on August 6. Present at the event were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; and Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization.

 

Leaders of Khanh Hoa Women’s Union urged businesses, organizations and individuals in the province to donate to the program to provide milk for children and the elderly in need, especially those in locked-down and quarantine areas.

 

 

 

Nguyen Hai Ninh highly appreciated the donation program held by Khanh Hoa Women’s Union and thanked businesses, organizations and individuals for their contribution. He also expressed the hope that all members in the province and benefactors would join the donation to the program, standing shoulder to shoulder with the local authority to improve residents’ life, especially during the social distancing against Covid-19.

 

After the launching ceremony, Khanh Hoa Women’s Union mobilized businesses, agencies and benefactors to donate VND166 million and 1,000 cardboard boxes of milk to the charity event. Earlier, 1,200 liters of fresh milk and 2,400kg kg of condensed milk had been offered to patients at makeshift hospitals and residents in locked-down and quarantine areas in Ninh Hoa Town and Nha Trang City.
