135 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were identified in Khanh Hoa Province from 5pm on August 12 to 5pm on August 13, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
The new cases include 115 in Nha Trang City, 8 in Ninh Hoa, 3 in Van Ninh, 3 in Dien Khanh District, 2 in Cam Ranh City, 2 in Cam Lam District and 2 in Khanh Vinh District. 2 of these are in the community of Nha Trang City; and the others are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
4,149 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (2,121), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,543), Dien Khanh District (201), Van Ninh District (147), Cam Lam District (76), Cam Ranh City (46), Khanh Vinh (14) and Khanh Son (1).
4,816 F1 and 11,579 F2 have been traced. 292 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
