199 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in Khanh Hoa Province from 5pm on August 4 to 5pm on August 5, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
The new cases include 105 in Nha Trang City, 72 in Ninh Hoa, 3 in Van Ninh District, 13 in Dien Khanh District, 3 in Cam Ranh, 1 in Cam Lam District and 2 in Khanh Vinh District.
61 of these are in the community of Nha Trang, Van Ninh, Cam Ranh and Dien Khanh; and the others are home-quarantined and locked-down and quarantine areas.

2,967 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (1,428), followed by Nha Trang City (1,252), Van Ninh District (128), Cam Lam District (65), Dien Khanh District (67), Cam Ranh City (21), Khanh Vinh (5) and Khanh Son (1).
