159 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 5pm on August 9 to 5pm on August 10, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
The new cases include 127 in Nha Trang City, 9 in Ninh Hoa, 17 in Dien Khanh District, 4 in Cam Ranh and 2 in Cam Lam District. 26 of these are in the community of Nha Trang City and Dien Khanh District; and the others are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
3,619 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (1,690), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,508), Dien Khanh District (167), Van Ninh District (137), Cam Lam District (71), Cam Ranh City (37), Khanh Vinh (8) and Khanh Son (1). 4,704 F1 and 11,356 F2 have been traced. 263 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
1,132 recovered cases and 26 deaths of Covid-19 have been reported since July 22.
