141 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 7am on August 22 to 7am on August 23, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 97 in Nha Trang City, 19 in Ninh Hoa Town, 16 in Van Ninh, 2 in Dien Khanh District, 1 in Cam Ranh City and 6 in Cam Lam District. All of the new cases are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
During the period, 149 reportedly recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa, bringing the tally to 3,468 since July 22, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
