During the period, 78 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 55 in Nha Trang City, 1 in Ninh Hoa District, 8 in Van Ninh, 1 in Dien Khanh and 13 in Cam Ranh City. 15 of these are in the community of Nha Trang and Cam Ranh; and others are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
6,205 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (3,634), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,725), Van Ninh District (374), Dien Khanh District (249), Cam Lam District (101), Cam Ranh City (104), Khanh Vinh (17) and Khanh Son (1).
6,809 F1 and 12,639 F2 have been traced. 93 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. 479,460 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 2,608,616 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 51 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
