Effectively implementing the campaign "All people get engaged in keeping the community safe from Covid-19", Khanh Vinh District has enhancing its green zoning strategy to protect “green areas” from the coronavirus sources from outside.
 
Khanh Vinh District has 14/14 communities with 39 villages and quarters classified as “new normal” according to August 23 statistics. Khanh Vinh District People’s Committee is under the Directive 19’s social distancing as from August 25. Besides, the District People’s Committee has added some more measures to adapt to its specific situations.
 
The restrictions include banning gatherings of more than 10 in public places, outside workplaces, schools and hospitals. Traditional markets and convenience stores only sell necessary goods while maintaining social distancing regulations together with weekly testing for traders. Restaurants and café on the National Highway 27C; sidewalk coffee shops and restaurants maintain closed. Indoor restaurants are allowed to open but only with takeaway service. Travel restrictions between areas are in place to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

A green zone protection checkpoint has been set up in Giang Lang Village, Khanh Thanh Commune. Those from other communes need to complete health declaration and present work documents to get through the checkpoint. Travelers from outside Khanh Vinh District are asked to show their valid certificates of negative SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test results.
 
Song Cau Commune has founded 2 check-points in the villages of Dong and Tay in an effort to maintain the green zone. The 24-hour monitoring remains on the provincial road to monitor travelers from Nha Trang City and Dien Khanh District into Khanh Vinh District. Many types of service business remain shut down in Khanh Vinh Town, according  to Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of Song Cau Commune People’s Committee.
 
Van Ngoc Huong, Chairman of Khanh Vinh District People’s Committee said negative PCR tests taken less than 72 hours before arrival are required for all travelers into the district though inter-district check-points in the communes of Khanh Binh, Khanh Dong, Khanh Nam, Khanh Phu and Song Cau.
 
Implementing the campaign "All people get engaged in keeping the community safe from Covid-19", Khanh Vinh District People’s Committee maintains 24-hour monitoring at check-points to make sure all travelers from epidemic zones complete medical declaration, have got tested for Covid-19 and undergo quarantine as regulated. Chairmen of the commune People's Committees take full responsibility for the inspection of the implementation of the campaign.
