Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 91 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on August 76 to 7am on August 28, bringing the tally to 4,147, accounting for 2/3 of infections, since July 22.
During the period, 115 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 7am on August 27 to 7am on August 28. The new cases include 60 in Nha Trang City, 11 in Ninh Hoa District, 35 in Van Ninh, 2 in Dien Khanh, 1 in Cam Ranh and 6 in Cam Lam District. 4 of the new cases are in the community of Nha Trang and Van Ninh; and others are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.

6,127 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (3,579), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,724), Van Ninh District (366), Dien Khanh District (245), Cam Lam District (101), Cam Ranh City (91), Khanh Vinh (17) and Khanh Son (1).
6,643 F1 and 12,576 F2 have been traced. 108 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. 462,378 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 2,446,759 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 47 deaths of Covid-19 since July 22.
