Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 122 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 7 to 7am on September 8, bringing the tally to 5,625, accounting for 80% of the cases since July 22.
 
During the period, 54 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 23 in Nha Trang City, 15 in Ninh Hoa District, 8 in Van Ninh and 8 in Cam Ranh City. All of the cases are in home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
 
7,008 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,024), making up nearly 2/3 of the infections, followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,865), Van Ninh District (557), Dien Khanh District (254), Cam Ranh City (171), Cam Lam District (119), Khanh Vinh (17) and Khanh Son (1).

7,912 F1 and 13,025 F2 have been traced. 63 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. 526,352 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 3,355,260 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 72 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
 According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 37,374 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 7, raising the total to 316,322 doses, including 283,379 first doses and 50,323 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND15.7 billion, over VND13.3 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response. Besides, the center has also received 415.15 tons of rice, 138 tons of vegetables and fruits; 453,500 eggs; 2,471 boxes of necessities of all kinds to help struggling families due to Covid-19.
