Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 63 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 25 to 7am on September 26, bringing the tally to 7,128, accounting for over 93% of the cases since July 22.
During the period, 25 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 11 in Nha Trang City, 7 in Ninh Hoa District and 7 in Van Ninh District. None of the cases is of community infection.
7,651 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,285), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,964), Van Ninh District (752), Dien Khanh District (267), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (155), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
10,888 F1 and 13,643 F2 have been traced. 635,122 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,066,608 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 9 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 84 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
4,134 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 25, raising the total to 809,188 doses, including 762,310 first doses and 82,212 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling VND177,525 million to 92,130 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
