Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs in association with the Representative Board of Khanh Hoa Association for the Elderly paid a visit and offered gifts to lonely and vulnerable older people suffering hardship due to Covid-19 in Dien Khanh District on September 29. They included Tran Roi born in 1948 in An Ninh Village, Dien An Commune; Le Xuan Dang born in 1941 in Tay 1 Village, Dien Son Commune; and Le Thi Lon born in 1946 in Dong 1 Village, Dien Dien Commune.
The delegation wished them have good health and longevity and set good examples for younger generations to follow, contributing to the local social development. On behalf of the State President, the delegation granted longevity gifts, VND500,000 each, to the 4 old people.
Reportedly, they are among 64 lonely and vulnerable older people impacted by Covid-19 receiving longevity gifts from the Provincial People’s Committee on the International Day for Older Persons.
