Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 7 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 29 to 7am on September 30, bringing the tally to 7,261, accounting for nearly 94% of the infections since July 22.
During the period, 27 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 14 in Nha Trang City, 7 in Ninh Hoa Town, 4 in Van Ninh District and 2 in Cam Lam District. None of the cases is of community infection.

7,777 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,335), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,008), Van Ninh District (779), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (159), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
11,164 F1 and 13,757 F2 have been traced. 645,373 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,212,346 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 23 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
