Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over a virtual meeting on Covid-19 response in the coming time on the afternoon of September 5. Khanh Hoa Province delegates included Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; and Vice- Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
 
According to the report of the Ministry of Health, Vietnam recorded more than 508,300 cases, nearly 279,700 recovered and 12,758 deaths of Covid-19 from April  27 to September 4. So far, 10 cities and provinces and have gone more than 14 days without a community Covid-19 case, and 6 cities and provinces have no secondary infection cases and Cao Bang remains the only province without a single case of Covid-19.
 
Khanh Hoa has reported 6,883 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 since June 23 with 5,381 recovered from Covid-19 and 66 deaths of Covid-19. The Province has implemented social welfare and assistance policies for residents, including 61,927 self-employed people with a total funding of VND117 billion. 
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND12.72 billion, over VND9.68 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and buy food to help struggling families; offered  415.15 tons of rice, 138 tons of vegetables and fruits; 453,500 eggs; 2,471 boxes of necessities of all kinds, etc. to residents. 
 
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked local administrations at all levels to overcome challenges to fulfill  assigned tasks, focusing on the pandemic response strategy with strict containment measures, rapid testing and vaccination, ensuring everyone’s access to vaccines and social welfare benefits, etc.
