Over 82% of cases have recovered from Covid-19

Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 35 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on September 10 to 7am on September 11, bringing the tally to 5,924, accounting for over 82% of the cases since July 22.
 
During the period, 55 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 29 in Nha Trang City, 10 in Ninh Hoa District, 9 in Van Ninh, 1 in Dien Khanh District, 5 in Cam Ranh City and 2 in Cam Lam District. All of the cases are in home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
 
7,177 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,119), making up nearly 2/3 of the infections, followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,881), Van Ninh District (584), Dien Khanh District (259), Cam Ranh City (186), Cam Lam District (130), Khanh Vinh (17) and Khanh Son (1).

8,068 F1 and 13,128 F2 have been traced. 22 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. 539,964 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 3,505,004 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 76 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
The 2 districts of Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son have gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
 
According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 27,008  doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on September 10, raising the total to 439,810 doses, including 402,716 first doses and 54,772 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
 
Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits to those entitled under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
 
The Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND16.7 billion, over VND15.3 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response. Besides, the center has also received 415.15 tons of rice, 138 tons of vegetables and fruits; 453,500 eggs; 2,471 boxes of necessities of all kinds to help struggling families; 2 ambulances, 25,000 face masks, 2,000 sets of medical protective gears, 31 ventilators, 2,000 SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid testing devices, etc. to support the medical care in Khanh Hoa.
