Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 129 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on August 31 to 7am on September 1, bringing the tally to 4,651 since July 22.
 
During the period, 121 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 63 in Nha Trang City, 22 in Ninh Hoa District, 30 in Van Ninh, 1 in Dien Khanh, 3 in Cam Ranh City and 2 in Cam Lam District. 6 of these are in the community of Nha Trang, Cam Ranh and Dien Khanh; and others are home-quarantined and locked-down and centralized quarantine areas.
 
6,538 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (3,787), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (1,784), Van Ninh District (467), Dien Khanh District (251), Cam Ranh City (127), Cam Lam District (104), Khanh Vinh (17) and Khanh Son (1).

7,265 F1 and 12,758 F2 have been traced. 42 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. 475,758 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 2,844,938 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 56 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
According to Khanh Hoa Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, the Provincial Covid-19 Relief Center has received more than VND12.57 billion, over VND9.62 billion of which has been used to support the pandemic response and buy food to help struggling families. The remaining is VND2.95 billlion. Besides, the center has also received 415.15 tons of rice, 138 tons of vegetables and fruits; 453,500 eggs; 2,471 boxes of necessities of all kinds; 2 ambulances, 15,000 face masks; 2,000 sets of medical protective gears, 31 ventilators, 2,000 SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid testing devices, etc.
 
406.09 tons of rice and all the vegetables and medical equipment have been sent to the health care sector.
