In the face of the unprecedented Covid-19 outbreak, social distancing order together with travel restrictions has been imposed in Nha Trang City, Cam Ranh City and many areas throughout the province. Therefore, many enterprises have faced great difficulties in production and business. In the situation, Vietnam Air Catering Services Company (VINACS) Cam Ranh has expanded its onboard food service to the isolation area at Khanh Hoa General Hospital, quarantined hotels, offices and workplaces under "3 in one spot" regulations.

The company has complied with Covid-19-related regulations and maintained operation under the motto “3 in one spot” and 1 route 2 locations”, ensuring a safe environment and healthy diets for staff. They are tested every 3 days and required to adhere to 5K guidance. Up to now, 100% of the staff have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
VINACS Cam Ranh has coped with great difficulties because of the loss of business due to the closure of the airport during the coronavirus wave. International and domestic flights have been grounded. The company has faced a lot of pressure to cover loan interests, maintenance costs and payment of basic and regional minimum salaries (65% of workforce has been laid off).
Thanks to the support from TASECO Group, the Company Members' Council is determined to direct the Board of Directors and all employees to share with the burden and challenges by not receiving overtime pay and minimize loss by serving meals to medical staff, officials and residents in the province. Besides, the company has offered many meals to support those working at Covid-19 checkpoints in Cam Nghia Ward, Cam Ranh City, according to Doan Trong Tien, Director of VINACS Cam Ranh.
In the coming time when flights resume once the pandemic is kept under control, apart from serving onboard meals, the company is willing to partner with agencies and businesses in the province to expand its food service to cater for hospitals, schools and offices and other workplaces.
