Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 24 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on October 3 to 7am on October 4, bringing the tally to 7,440, accounting for more than 94% of the infections since July 22.
During the period, 51 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 44 in Nha Trang City, 4 in Ninh Hoa Town, 2 in Van Ninh District and 1 in Cam Ranh. None of the cases is of community infection.

7,921 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,442), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,031), Van Ninh District (790), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (206), Cam Lam District (161), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
11,381 F1 and 13,910 F2 have been traced. 655,449 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,311,354 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 43 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 23,555 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on October 3, raising the total to 848,355 doses, including 102,782 second shots during the coronavirus wave.
