Khanh Hoa Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control issued guidance on the implementation of the 2nd phase of the safe adaption and response to Covid-19 and socio-economic development recovery in the province from October 16 to November 15.
 
Accordingly, people in lockdown areas must remain indoors. Those in other places are urged to adhere to 5K regulations when leaving home, install PC-Covid app on smart phones to get Covid digital passes and personal QR codes which are needed to be able to join socio-economic activities.
 
State agencies, socio-political organizations; production, tourism and trade businesses; railway stations, bus stations, ports, airports, markets, trade centers, supermarkets, restaurants, shops, etc. must strictly comply with the Ministry of Health’s dispatch No. 6666 issued on August 16th, 2021; generate location QR codes and Covid pass application. When detecting suspected cases of infection, the operations must be immediately stopped for emergency response. The reopening will be allowed when safety is guaranteed as regulated.
 
Direct teaching and learning are allowed at high schools from October 18; at nursery and primary schools from November 1 when having met the Covid-19 safety criteria at school.
 
Events with mass gatherings are allowed when approved by the provincial or district-level People’s Committees with participants limited and required to have Covid passes and comply with 5K regulations. Parties, weddings and religious activities can proceed with only vaccinated participants allowed to attend but not exceeding 30. 
 
The beach is open again to swimmers from “green zones”. Gatherings of more than 5 are prohibited on the beach. Karaoke parlors, discotheques, bars, pubs; spa, massage service, cinemas, computer games continue to be suspended. Covid-19 lock-down and interprovincial check-points remain operational to ensure the pandemic prevention and control.
