Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 31 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on October 7 to 7am on October 8, bringing the tally to 7,555, accounting for nearly 94% of the infections since July 22.
During the period, 46 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 36 in Nha Trang City, 5 in Ninh Hoa Town, 2 in Van Ninh District and 1 in Dien Khanh District. None of the cases is of community infection.

8,096 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Nha Trang City has the most cases (4,573), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,050), Van Ninh District (799), Dien Khanh District (273), Cam Ranh City (208), Cam Lam District (164), Khanh Vinh (28) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
11,632 F1 and 14,035 F2 have been traced. 666,675 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,409,910 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 22 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
