58,132 doses of vaccine given, 24 recovered from Covid-19

Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 24 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa from 7am on October 4 to 7am on October 5, bringing the tally to 7,464, accounting for nearly 94% of the infections since July 22.

 

During the period, 31 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province. The new cases include 26 in Nha Trang City, 4 in Ninh Hoa Town and 1 in Cam Lam District. None of the cases is of community infection.

 

 

 

 

7,952 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23 with infections identified in 8/9 districts and towns, including Nha Trang City with the most cases (4,468), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,035), Van Ninh District (790), Dien Khanh District (268), Cam Ranh City (207), Cam Lam District (162), Khanh Vinh (21) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.

 

11,432 F1 and 13,944 F2 have been traced. 656,503 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,329,415 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 42 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 85 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.

 

According to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control, 58,132 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on October 4, raising the total to 906,487 doses, including 108,002 second shots during the coronavirus wave. Khanh Hoa’s vaccination rate has ranked 6th nationwide.

 

Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has promptly released allowances and social benefits totaling over VND199 billion to 103,036 self-employed people and others in need under the Government’s Resolution No.68 and the Prime Minister’s Decision No.23.
