Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 29 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa Province from 7am on October 13 to 7am on October 14, bringing the tally to 7,749, accounting for nearly 94% of the infections since July 22.
 
During the period, 36 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in the province. The new cases include 19 in Nha Trang City, 4 in Ninh Hoa Town, 1 in Van Ninh District, 1 in Dien Khanh District, 4 in Cam Lam District and 7 in Khanh Vinh District. 2 of the cases are of community infection in Nha Trang City and Dien Khanh District.

8,327 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Nha Trang City has the most cases (4,718), followed by Ninh Hoa Town (2,091), Van Ninh District (805), Dien Khanh District (277), Cam Ranh City (215), Cam Lam District (173), Khanh Vinh (47) and Khanh Son (1). Khanh Son District has gone more than 14 days without a new locally transmitted coronavirus case.
 
11,931 F1 and 14,201 F2 have been traced. 685,880 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 4,699,944 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 18 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded. The provincial Center for Disease Control also recorded 89 deaths of Covid-19 since July 20.
 
26,511 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered in Khanh Hoa on October 13, raising the total to 898,041 doses, accounting for nearly 95% of the adult population, including 368,605 second shots, making up nearly 35%. Khanh Hoa’s vaccination rate has ranked 6th nationwide, according to the Provincial Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control.
