36 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in the province from 7am on October 18 to 7am on October 19, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 13 in Nha Trang City, 14 in Ninh Hoa Town, 1 in Van Ninh District, 5 in Dien Khanh District, 1 in Cam Lam District and 1 in Khanh Vinh District. 1 of the cases is of community infection in Ninh Hoa.
During the period, Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control reported 17 more recovered from Covid-19 in Khanh Hoa Province.
8,511 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in Khanh Hoa since June 23.
