The Covid-19 pandemic has caused challenges, especially to vulnerable groups, including the visually impaired community. Khanh Hoa Provincial Women’s Union has cooperated with benefactors to organize many support activities for the blind and visually impaired.

Before the pandemic, Truong Thi Linh, 50, and her husband, visually impaired, used to earn money from selling brooms. They rent a small house in Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City. They have stopped working since early July due to the pandemic outbreak. “We used to live from hand to mouth. However, when out of work, we have to depend on others for food every day,” said Truong Thi Linh.
