A ceremony to commemorate people who lost their lives to Covid-19 is scheduled to be held simultaneously from 8pm to 9pm on November 19 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The event co-hosted by Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will be live broadcast on Vietnam Television channel VTV1, Ho Chi Minh City Television and other central and local television channels.
The requiem aims to commemorate the victims and share the grief and loss as well as honor contribution of many who have lost their loved ones to the pandemic; promote the tradition of solidarity and raise responsibility off front-line forces and residents in the fight against the pandemic.
In response to the event, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee at all levels, the Government, Fatherland Front Committees and social and political organizations are required to organize practical activities to commemorate the pandemic dead; and relevant agencies to postpone all cultural, musical and entertaining activities during the requiem for dead victims of Covid-19.
