Ninh Hoa Scholarship Fund, founded in 2003, is committed to helping disadvantaged kids fulfill their desire to go to school.
At the recent 18th Ninh Hoa Scholarship ceremony, Nguyen Ngoc Hoang Anh, a 11th-grader at Nguyen Du High School received a grant from Ninh Hoa Scholarship Fund. This is the 2nd year she has been offered the scholarship. She has shown her great attempt to overcome difficulties and study well as she had promised to sponsors.
Growing up fatherless since a little child, the girl then lost her mom to a disease in 2017. Since then, she has been living with her maternal grandma, 72 years old. Understanding her grandma’s hardship, she always tries her best to be a good child and studious student.

Similarly, Duong Bao Quan, a student at Nha Trang University, is from a poor family. His parents are workers, struggling daily to meet ends meet. Thanks to the help from the community, especially from Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund, he is going to complete his education and pursue his dream career in automotive engineering. “It was a difficult journey and sometimes I was about to give up my dream of going to university. I feel so lucky to receive a scholarship from Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund," Duong Bao Quan said.

He hoped the scholarships would help inspire them to greater efforts to overcome difficulties in life. |
Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund, established in 2003, has presented scholarships worth nearly VND4 billion in total to more than 3,000 students for 18 years. The fund has expanded and reached out to 100% of schools in the town, helping struggling families and promoting education.
Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund mobilizes donations from businesses, organizations and individuals at home and abroad annually to provide children with learning opportunities. In the coming time, Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund will continue giving support to disadvantaged students to prevent school drop-outs. More donations are needed from individuals and organizations to reach out to more students, according to Lien Khoi Thuc, a member of Ninh Hoa Town Scholarship Fund’s foundation board.
