Vietnam has removed SARS-CoV-2 testing requirements for travellers arriving from overseas starting May 15.
The move follows a decrease in the recent Covid-19 cases and deaths while existing vaccines are still effective against variants of coronavirus.
Vietnam has effectively taken comprehensive prevention and control measures in safe and flexible adaptation and response to Covid-19, gaining satisfactory results in the fight against the pandemic.
The Ministry of Health has also dropped health declaration requirements for foreign arrivals into Vietnam from April 27.
