“Peaceful family, Happy society” is the theme of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28, 2022 and the National Action Month against Domestic Violence on June 1-30.
According to Le Van Hoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the Vietnamese Family Day connected with the National Action Month against Domestic Violence 2022 is a meaningful activity, spreading and promoting family values as well as promoting propaganda for actions against domestic violence, mobilizing residents to create a civic culture, raising public awareness of traditional family behavioral values in order to keep families prosperous, harmonious, healthy and happy.
In response to the Vietnamese Family Day and the National Action Month against Domestic Violence, the department will focus on propaganda via posters and banners on streets, in public places in front of offices and schools in Nha Trang City from June 26 to July 2; propaganda on mass media against domestic abuse and harmful effects of alcohol; criticizing violent behaviors between family members and violation against the family law; encouraging individuals, organizations and the community to get involved in family tasks, hanging up posters and banners delivering the theme and messages of the Vietnamese family Day.
In the coming time, the sector will continue boosting propaganda to raise public awareness of the roles, positions and responsibilities of families and community in the implementation of the law and regulations, preventing social evils and abolishing backward customs in families and marriage, improving living standards based on developing family economy, especially in support of policy beneficiaries and those in remote areas.
Targets are set in all criteria with specific tasks assigned to relevant agencies and departments for cooperation in implementation. Fulfilling family tasks is the responsibility of not only the Sector of Culture and Sports but also all departments, agencies, families and individuals to achieve the targets towards peaceful families and a happy society.
