On July 11, Khanh Hoa Oriental Medicine Association celebrated 40th foundation anniversary (July 10, 1982 – 2022). Present at the event were Le Huu Tho, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Committee; Head of Provincial Department of Propaganda & Training; and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee.
Over the past 40 years, Khanh Hoa Oriental Medicine Association has contributed to public health care and protection. Every year, the association at all levels gives examination and treatment to 160,239 patents on average, including free check-ups and treatment to 33,000 people with a total cost of over VND2 billion. Besides, the association has collected more than 300 effective traditional remedies from experienced practitioners, 8 books of therapies and 2 thematic journals; organized many professional training courses in traditional medicine for more than 1,300 members; sent nearly 240 members to professional development courses, masters and doctoral degree programs; maintained 166 sample medicinal herb gardens; cooperated with relevant department and enterprises to survey Paramignya trimera, producing Khanh Hoa Salangane nest medicinal wine.

With the above achievements, the association has been awarded 5 Labor Medals; 3 certificates of merit by the Prime Minister; 13 excellent emulation flags; many certificates of merit by the Vietnam Oriental Medicine Association and the Provincial People's Committee.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dinh Van Thieu requested the Association at all levels of associations to continue improving operation; applying scientific and technical advances in diagnosis and treatment with the motto "good doctor in medical ethics, expert in medicine"; developing herbal gardens, doing research and introducing local medicinal plants as medicinal herbs.
On this occasion, Vietnam Oriental Medicine Association awarded certificates of merit to 8 groups and 13 individuals; the provincial Oriental Medicine Association awarded certificates of merit to 25 groups and individuals.
