First Aid Competition and World First Aid Day 2022

Khanh Hoa Red Cross in partnership with Vietnam Red Cross held First Aid Competition and World First Aid Day 2022 themed 'Lifelong First Aid' on September 10. Present at the event were Bui Thi Hoa, Chairperson of Vietnam Red Cross and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

 

At the ceremony, Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked local  agencies and organizations in the province to respond to World First Aid Day 2022 via propaganda and first aid training for local residents; and raise public awareness of injury prevention and control. The Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also encouraged everyone to learn basic first aid skills to save life in emergency.

 

 

 

After the meeting, more than 60 volunteers from 8 teams, including Khanh Hoa Salanganes’ Nest Company; “charity trip” team; Red Cross of Nha Trang, Van Ninh, Ninh Hoa, Dien Khanh, Cam Lam and Cam Ranh joined First Aid Competition 2022. The competition contents included safely moving the injured, taking first aid procedures, etc. The first prize went to Cam Lam District Red Cross, the second to the “charity trip” team and the third to Nha Trang City Red Cross, and consolation prizes to other teams.
