According to Chairperson of Khanh Hoa Women's Union Nguyen Quynh Nga, the Provincial Women's Union at all levels has mobilized donations and joined natural disaster and epidemic relief and implemented several meaningful programs such as child sponsorship program helping more than 400 orphans in Khanh Hoa Province; mobilizing over VND 21.5 billion to build 264 houses, repair 255 houses for 519 poor, disabled and disadvantaged women; supporting access to unsecured banking loans more than VND2,300 billion, creating opportunities for 65,838 members and women to have capital to develop family economy; recommending and creating jobs for 27,467 women. The Union has focused on developing the membership to 257,879 with 2,825 new members. The province has 373 model women's associations/977 women's associations, including 108 graded excellent. Professional development and training have continued improving with 100% well-trained cadres.

One of the highlights of the Union is supporting women's creativity and economic development. The Union at all levels has implemented many solutions, especially vacillating women’s access to funding. Women have benefited from the entrusted capital of the Bank for Social Policies with 54,532 households receiving loans; unsecured loans over VND132.5 billion with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development lending to 1,484 households; unsecured loans more than VND 23.6 billion from the Southeast Asia Bank; VND29.3 billion loans from Lien Viet Post Bank and so on. In addition, the Women's Union at all levels has also managed more than VND384.5 billion from other sources, lent to more than 8,700 women's households for production and business expansion.
Under the project " business start-up assistance for women", in 2022, the Union at all levels has cooperated with related agencies to organize 10 business training courses for 620 women; introduce businesswomen to participate in fairs and exhibitions inside and outside the province. In October and November, the Provincial Women's Union will organize the " Women Start-up Day" fair in 2022 with expected 100 booths showcasing OCOP products, start-up products and businesses owned by women with the participation of localities in the province, etc.
In addition, the union at all levels has continued operating collectives, namely Cam Phuoc Dong Goat Farm Collective, Nha Trang City; Ninh Sim Commune New Rural Construction Collective, Ninh Hoa Town; collectives of planting mushroom, lotus, agricultural produces, vegetables; producing rice cakes, coconut sweets, sewing ao dai, etc.; cooperated with vocational schools, centers and local agricultural associations to provide sewing, cooking, knitting and mushroom cultivation training for 1,434 women; made job recommendation for 1,127 members and women.
In the coming time, the Provincial Women's Union will continue directing its affiliations to enhance legal consultancy and assistance; promote propaganda, honor good deeds; strengthen social criticism and supervision, especially on issues related to women; proactively suggest policies related to women, families, children and gender equality; participate in protection of women's rights; assisting women in economic development, implementing policies to support vulnerable groups. Moreover, grassroots associations will strengthen connections and support women with their business start-up and creative ideas; focusing on improving models on protecting the vulnerable.
The provincial Women’s Union will take some measures to ensue its sustainable development. They include making innovation in operation and quality increase; expanding effective models to develop the net work to attract new members and increase staff quality; secondly, improving the efficiency of management and administration; building job placement and professional titles; fostering young officials and officials of ethnic minorities; strengthening the application of information technology in administration and organization; continuing innovating emulation and commendation in various forms to timely honor outstanding individuals and groups; thirdly, enhancing the position and expand the influence of the Union in foreign relations by strengthening propaganda in praise of Vietnamese women’s beauty, achievements and the Union's activities on mass media, said Nguyen Quynh Nga.
