The University of the Pacific Ocean has just held a story-telling final themed “Gender Stories” for high school students nationwide.
7 contestants and groups of contestants from Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City and the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Tra Vinh and Nghe An. They competed in such events as public speaking, story telling, acting and interview. The first prize went to a student from Phan Boi Chau Gifted High School, Nghe An Province.

This is the first time the university has organized the competition to raise teenagers’ awareness of social issues. Earlier, in the preliminary, 50 contestants and groups of contestants had written or created video clips about gender-related stories.
