Khanh Hoa Comrade Association is organizing a colorful day among Young Pioneer detachments in Khanh Hoa Province. This is an opportunity for kids to show their creative and artistic talent with their artworks themed their affection for the Communist Youth Union and Youth Union members and youth's enthusiasm.
In response to the colorful day launched by Central Comrade Association, Khanh Hoa Comrade Association has implemented the program from early September to the end of October 2022. Nearly 1,200 entries had been submitted until October 7.

Themed “Youth garden”, the painting by Nguyen Ngoc Khanh Giang, member of Vinh Hai 2 Primary School’s Young Pioneer detachment, Nha Trang City, said, “my painting is to praise the youth's enthusiasm for environmental protection, helping to raise public awareness of environmental issues with tree planting for a green environment.”
Luong Hoang Tuan, a member of Chu Van An Junior High School’s Young Pioneer detachment, Ninh Hoa Town enters the contest with a drawing themed “Ninh Hoa’s children welcome the upcoming Youth Union’s Congress, depicting such social activities as assistance for the disadvantaged, Covid-19 control support, social volunteering, etc. “I paint with water colors. I would like to deliver messages about Youth Union members’ enthusiasm and volunteering to overcome difficulties to help others for the community’s sake,” he said.
According to Pham Ngoc Hai, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Comrade Association, the contest is open to kids aged 6-15 at primary and junior high schools, children’s houses, clubs and art centers in Khanh Hoa.
The contest theme is children's feelings, opinions and pride in the Youth Union; gratitude for teachers in charge of Young Pioneers’ tasks, for Youth Union members and young people' volunteering for child and teenager care, protection and education; good deeds in studying, following “Five lessons taught by Uncle Ho”.
Kids are asked to draw on A4 size sheets, color them using any color of their choice like sketch pens, crayons, oil pastel, water color, graphite, etc.; then submit it online at ngayhoisacmau.colokit.com. Excellent drawings will be awarded.
This is the fifth time the art contest has been held to provide a playground for children and teenagers to nurture and promote their artistic talents. Themed “Vietnamese children welcome the upcoming Youth Union’s Congress”, this year’s contest is to promote the emulation campaign among children nationwide in order to mark the 12th Youth Union congress at all levels for the 2022-2027 tenure.
