Earlier, the railway industry had announced a plan to run 15 more trains from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang City, Dieu Tri Town, Tam Ky City, Da Nang City, Hue City and vice versa between January 20 and January 25, 2023 (lunar December 29 to lunar January 4), equivalent to 8,000 more seats. The tickets for these trains have been available for sale.
Currently, there are about 17,000 seats left on trains running before Tet from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, about 52,000 seats left running after Tet from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
