On November 16, Khanh Hoa Department of Information & Communications issued a document on propaganda for the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”, period 2022-2027.
According to Pham Duy Loc, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Information & Communications, on August 8, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and Vingroup signed a memorandum on cooperating to implement the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”. The Provincial People’s Committee promulgated the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”, period 2022-2027, on September 21 in an effort to develop a learning society, popularizing English to all residents in the province..

The program is piloted in the 2 localities of Nha Trang City and Cam Lam District in the first period (2022-2023). One of the main purposes in this period is the foundation of 150 English speaking clubs. The program is maintained in the 2 piloted localities and expanded to 4 communities of Cam Ranh City, Ninh Hoa Town, Dien Khanh District and Van Ninh District with the establishment of 160 more English language clubs in the second period (2023-2024); maintained in the 6 localities and launched in the 2 more districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh with the establishment of 60 more English language clubs in the third period (2024-2025); maintained in 8 localities in the province with English language club scale expanded the 50 more newly-founded in the fourth period (2025-2026). 10 more English language clubs are founded together witth assessment and evaluation of the program in the 5th period (2026-2027).
To raise public awareness of the program among people from all backgrounds, students and pubic servants, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee required the boost in propaganda, raising public awareness of the importance of English learning in the international integration economy and digital society; together with inspiring stories about learning English; good examples and initiatives in the English learning campaign in the province.
To fulfill the propaganda, the Provincial Department of Information & Communications has assigned and coordinated with concerned agencies to develop the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”; and guided propaganda for the program on mass media, newspapers, portals and fanpages.
The Provincial Department of Information & Communications requested press agencies, divisions of culture and information; and centers of culture, information and sports on enhancing propaganda to raise public awareness of the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”, activities and events within the program; delivering news about the implementation of the program in the province.
