The Vietnam Maritime Rescue Cooperation Center (VNMRCC) brought 2 Filipino crew, namely Clores Jose Rose Samonte born in 1992 and Candelario Rizaldy Bagdoc born in 1991 ashore at 22:30 am on November 8 on the rescue ship SAR-272 to Nha Trang VNMRCC Port in Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City for emergency medical aid.

Reportedly, earlier on November 8, VNMRCC had received SOS signals from the Energy Hope (registered in Panama) on its way from Singapore to South Korea. The captain immediately called for help when the ship was approximately 78 nautical miles off the coast of Nha Trang City. Clores Jose Rose Samonte had an occupational accident and Candelario Rizaldy Bagdoc suddenly got severely ill.

MRCC sent the ship SAR-272 to the scene to launch the rescue operation, giving immediate first aid on-board and bringing the 2 crew ashore for medical treatment.
