Within the ASEAN-Fisheries Education Network (ASEAN-FEN) framework, the 10th International Fisheries Symposium – IFS 2022 themed “Adapt to changes” opened at Nha Trang University on December 5-7.
The IFS2022 received about 500 participants from management agencies, namely the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Vietnam Seaculture Association, Department of Agriculture & Rural Development and Department of Science &Technology; businesses, universities and research institutes at home and abroad.

More than 300 presentations are on insights in fishery research sectors such as Aquaculture biotechnology, Genetics and breeding, Aquatic animal nutrition and physiology; Seafood processing technology, food safety and security; et. The event provides an opportunity for member countries to share and introduce achievements in scientific research and aquaculture; scientists and students to showcase their research results.
The program also includes farm tours to freshwater aquaculture facilities and marine finfish hatcheries.
