Vietnam Children’s Fund, Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs in cooperation with Generali Vietnam held a community educational parenting program for nearly 300 school staff, children and their parents at Huong Sen Nursery School, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province on December 4.
The educational program focused on practical knowledge such as happy, nutritious meals; emotional control and spending quality time with kids within the 3 main topics about intellectual development, behavior and health for the ages 0 - 6.
On this occasion, Generali Vietnam offered 150 gifts to kids, 150 books to parents and 30 helmets and cash worth VND800,000 to the needy.
The parenting program is within the framework of the “The Human Safety Net”, a community initiative implemented globally since 2017. 1 of its 3 key activities is to assist families during children’s first 6 years of life to create a good foundation for kids’ development in their early childhood in disadvantaged communities.
