Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation has just issued a plan to organize the 2023 Lunar New Year get-together program with a variety of meaningful and practical activities for Trade Union members and employees.
According to Bui Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Confederation, the 2022 Lunar New Year get-together program is scheduled to take place at the Center of Culture & Sports for workers at Suoi Dau Industrial Zone, Cam Lam District. The program has been developed since 2015.
The activity is to share financial burden and bring hilarious atmosphere and festive spring season to Trade Union members and employees in need, having occupational diseases or accidents, spending Lunar New Year holiday far from home. Through the program, Trade Union members and employees will be more aware of the roles, responsibilities and contribution of the Trade Union, helping inspire all the staff to make greater efforts at work and stay with their companies.

Before the Lunar New Year get-together program, Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Confederation will cooperate with other agencies and businesses to sign a welfare program for employees, organize the Trade Union’s New Year Fair 2023 with necessities available for free of charge.
In addition, there will be a health consultancy and liver cancer screening for Trade Union members and employees; flower arrangement, Chung cake wrapping and New Year gift wrapping contests. The activities are designed to showcase the skills of Trade Union cadres, members and employees. Products from the contests will be offered to Trade Union members and employees in need.
More than 200 Trade Union members and employees are expected to take part in the Lunar New Year get-together program; receive New Year gifts from leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front and other local departments and agencies; join a musical show, cut Chung cakes and enjoy themselves together at a year-end party and get lucky money from the leaders of the province and Trade Union.
The Trade Union at grassroots levels will have suitable practical activities for the Lunar New Year celebration for Trade Union members; as well as offer grants and assistance to ensure a happy Tet for Trade Union members.
Moreover, the Trade Union at all levels is required to flexibly mobilize organizations, businesses and benefactors, especially employers to organize activities to care for Trade Union members, offer travel grants to the needy and support Lunar New year celebration for those on duty or spending Tet far from home.
