On January 6, Khanh Hoa Department of Information & Communications approved a press conference for "Khanh Hoa residents speak English" program.
Accordingly, the press conference is scheduled to take place at Ibis Hotel, 6 Hung Vuong, Nha Trang City at 14:00 on January 9 with the attendance of the management board of Vinuni project (belonging to Vingroup) and representatives of press agencies. The event will be chaired by Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union.
On August 8, 2022, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and Vingroup signed a memorandum on cooperating to implement the program “Khanh Hoa residents speak English”. In the first period 2022-2023, the program is piloted in Nha Trang City and Cam Lam District, targeting at students, cadres and State servants. The program is developed for 5 years with a long-term goal to develop a learning society, popularizing English to all residents in the province, especially at State agencies, schools and trade establishments, tourist sites, etc.
Vingroup pledged to provide teaching materials, training, propaganda support and other financial assistance. VinUni university (under Vingroup) cooperated with Nha Trang University and Khanh Hoa University to found English speaking clubs, and recruit volunteers for the program quality management and monitoring.
