In the days staying at Diamond Bay resort for two competitions of Ao Dai and Long Gown, Miss Japan Marina Kishira was in the habit of learning about Nha Trang on English tourist websites by her ipad. “Information on Internet says that Nha Trang is one of hot spots in the world. It has a lot of diversified and age-old cultural works”, she said, “I will try to know more about Nha Trang to tell my relatives and friends in Japan. Maybe I will come back here with many families one day.”

“In Russia, travel firms always have tours to Vietnam and one of popular destinations is Nha Trang. Although I have few time to sightsee the whole city but I’m deeply impressed by the blue of the sea and the green of mountains and hills here”, said Victoria Schukina, the beauties from Russia.
Miss Curacao Norayla Maria Francisco eagerly shared her feeling, “This is a beautiful city I’ve known. The landscape here’s charming and vegetation’s fine. Especially, I love friendliness of people here. They always smile with me.”
Showing us photos she has taken in Nha Trang, Miss New Zealand Lisa Joy Davids said, “Nha Trang really is an ideal place to travel to. Climate’s cool, natural landscape’s beautiful and people are hospitable.”
The beauty of the host Vietnam Luu Thi Diem Huong, who had been crowned at Miss Vietnam World 2010 held in Nha Trang three months ago, confided, “Nha Trang was a place bringing much happiness when I became Miss Vietnam World 2010 here. Returning Nha Trang this time, that feeling has come back to me. I have much knowledge of culture and tourism about Nha Trang and I’ve told it to some contestants, especially my roommate Maria Angela Bonnani from Venezuela.
Carousel Executive Vice President Lorraine E.Shuck affirmed, “Miss Earth is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. As a result, the organization board always encourages the candidates to do practical things to appeal to environment protection. We also recommend them studying culture and people of destinations. I’m very proud when the candidates, in a short time, have certain knowledge about Nha Trang”.
