Along with activities of culture, tourism and cuisine, 2011 Sea Festival in Nha Trang, from June 11 to 15, will include a lot of interesting sports activities.
Starting 2011 Sea Festival’sports activities will be a sea-bathing day on June 6 which falls on Double Five festival (5th day of 5th lunar month). From 8am to 11 pm on that day, there will be community performances such as Sepak Takraw, martial arts, dragon dance, break dance, rescue guide, marathon and folk games.

On June 12, tourists and residents can join a fishing contest and a release of sea creature. This activity will bring joiners interesting experience on a fishing boat and raise the awareness of protecting ecological environment as well as aquatic products in Nha Trang. The event will be held at the fishing ground in the south of Hon Tre.
“Sports activities will make the Sea Festival more attractive and busy. They are expected to attract tourists as well as residents and introduce them the civilized and friendly image of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa”, said Nguyen Tuan Thanh, a member of the festival’s managing board.
