Khatoco Khanh Hoa Football Club has just officially transferred to Hai Phong recently. The reason is that the club’s sponsor Khanh Viet Corporation (Khatoco), like other State-own enterprises, is not allowed to invest in professional football by the government.
Accordingly, 14 best players of the club, namely Tan Tai, Van Phong, Hoang Tuan, Van Hoc, Tan Dat, Huu Phat, Ngoc Dieu, Ngoc Hung, Thanh Tuan, Van Thuan, Huu Chuong, Justice, two naturalized players Van Phu and Van Tan and Head coach Hoang Anh Tuan will play for Hai Phong in V.League 2013. Other players will be facilitated to look for a new club.
