Khanh Hoa team won the first grade at the national mountaineering championship to conquer the peak of Ba Ra Mountain held in Phuoc Long District of Binh Phuoc Province on January 6.

900 athletes participating the event climbed to Ba Ra Mountain, 723 meters above sea level, finishing a 7.7km race for men and 5.4km for women.
In the young female event for, Vo Bien Thanh Thuy, born 1995, won gold medal. In the professional female event, Nguyen Dang Thanh Thuy got the silver and Nguyen Thi My Chi received the brozen.
In young team event, men of Khanh Hoa won the gold while women got the bronze.
With 7 golds, 1 silver and 4 bronzes, Khanh Hoa athletes won the first grade.
