Khanh Hoa Province is planning a large-scale football championship for clubs in the province to improve this sports’ movement.
As planned, the tournament will comprise 10 teams from cities, districts, departments and some professional teams from the age of 17. The team will play in the first leg and second leg, respectively. Matches will take place on every Saturday and Sunday.
This event is expected by many people in Khanh Hoa when the province’s football is at a standstill. Presently, amateur teams now play 3-4 matches during from one week to one month each year. With the new tournament, the teams will play more matches in longer time, which will forward football movement in the province more.

Accordingly, the event will be heated 19-8 Stadium in Nha Trang every Saturday and Sunday with football matches between local teams.
Khanh Hoa Province now has tens of amateur football teams from localities. If the plan comes true, it will develop football movement in both scale and quality in the whole province.
Beside the fund for sports, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism are calling upon sponsorship for this tournament.
Nguyen Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, this playground aims to maintain and develop football movement which is falling down due to the loss of Khatoco Khanh Hoa football team. The preparations for its organization will be made completely in this month, he revealed.
