The Danish Embassy in Hanoi has just announced the first international mountain marathon held in Vietnam.
The Danish Embassy in Hanoi has just announced the first international mountain marathon held in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the competition will take place on October 5, 2013 in Sapa, Lao Cai Province. At present, runners from over 20 countries have registered to participate in 3 events: Half Marathon (21 km), Marathon (42km), and Ultra Marathon (70km).

Specially, all runners will donate part of their race fee to Sa Pa O’Chau, the charity organization supplying education opportunities to ethnic minority groups.
The Danish Ambassador also signed up for this event.
