Sanest Khanh Hoa volleyball team gained useful experience through friendly matches in Cambodia although they did not achieve the desired results.
From November 21 to 24, by the invitation of the Royal Cambodian Police, two Vietnam’s strong volleyball teams, Sanest Khanh Hoa and Maseco Ho Chi Minh City, toured to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to have friendly matches with two Cambodia’s volleyball teams. It was a good opportunity for young players of Sanest Khanh Hoa to exchange competition experience and raise professional quality. In this tour, Sanest Khanh Hoa lost 0-3 to the Cambodia national volleyball team (Royal Cambodian Police team) and 2-3 to Battambang police team.
“This was the first overseas tour of Sanest Khanh Hoa and also a good opportunity for the young players to exchange experience with the strong squads of Cambodia,” said Trieu Tu Thien, head coach of Sanest Khanh Hoa.
According to Thien, the experiences in this tour were very useful for Sanest Khanh Hoa’s young players, who have less experience in both national and international tournaments. Besides, through this tour, Sanest Khanh Hoa created an intimate relationship with Cambodia’s strong volleyball teams.

The young players of Sanest Khanh Hoa had an improvement in each game. In their first match, they lost easily to Cambodia national volleyball team. However, in the second match against Battambang police team, Sanest Khanh Hoa played better in a tense and attractive match, leaving a good impression on the audiences.
After the tour, Sanest Khanh Hoa and Royal Cambodian Police volleyball team intended to create a relationship in training young players. Specifically, the Royal Cambodian Police volleyball team wishes to send some young players to Sanest Khanh Hoa for training. The two teams will have friendly matches every year in order to create opportunity for the players to exchange experience and raise professional quality.
