Year of sustainable achievements
2013 is a year Khanh Hoa has got sustainable achievements in sports, especially ones trained in Khanh Hoa Sports Technique Training Center with 230 medals (56 golds, 72 silvers and 102 bronzes). 35 athletes of the center gained master title; 50 ones got level-1 athlete title. The center also trained 364 athletes and contributed in the success of the indoor volleyball team (in top 5 of nation’s strong volleyball teams). Those achievements were partly thanks to the improvements in facilities and life of the officers and athletes.

Focusing on resolving difficulties
Reportedly, Khanh Hoa Sports Technique Training Center will focus on preparing for the national sports and physical training festival 2014. The center intends to compete in 12 out of 36 events of the festival and will strive to gain eleven golden medals and rank twentieth among 66 provinces, cities and departments. The key sports of the center such as athletics (cross-country), traditional martial arts (demonstration) and beach volleyball will be more invested.
However, the center’s present remuneration policy has not created a motivation and not attracted talents, partly affecting competing psychology of both athletes and coaches. In order to resolve this difficulty, Khanh Hoa Sports Technique Training Center took the initiative in offering some solutions, such as rebuilding and rearranging employees; promoting creation of young people and combining experience and modern science to recruit young talents.
In addition, the center also petitioned the authorities for some solutions, including building meeting hall, fitness room; investing in equipment; being allowed to develop the strategic high-achievement sports; creating a competing motivation for the athletes and coaches through a better policy.
