Positive contributions of Nha Trang City traditional martial arts championships

The Nha Trang City traditional martial arts championships is a playground for the young athletes to exchange and learn experience which helps them to contribute positively to the development of the traditional martial arts in Khanh Hoa Province.

The Nha Trang City traditional martial arts championship is a playground for the young athletes to exchange and learn experience which helps them to contribute positively to the development of the traditional martial arts in Khanh Hoa Province.
 
Recently, the traditional martial arts has positively contributed to the development of the martial arts in Khanh Hoa Province through the maintaining stably the number of clubs, training places and the increasing number of practitioners. The province now has 15 traditional martial arts sects and clubs with more than 15,000 followers practicing at 41 places, clubs, and dojos. The traditional martial arts in particular and the provincial martial arts team in general have been highly appreciated at most of national tournaments.
 
At the 2013 national traditional martial arts championship,the Khanh Hoa provincial traditional martial arts team gained excellent achievements with 13 golden medals. Behind those good achievements are the positive contributions of the traditional martial arts movement in the localities, especially in Nha Trang City, together with the city traditional martial arts championship.

The Nha Trang City traditional martial arts championship 2014 took place on April 19 and 20, attracting over 70 athletes from 12 communes, wards and clubs in the city. The participation of all of the clubs and dojos in the city along with most of the famous martial arts masters in the province showed the development of this sport. 
 
According to Ngo Quoc Khanh, coach of the provincial traditional martial arts team, this championship not only aims to evaluate the quality of the clubs and dojos in the city but also helps to discover and train the young athletes for the provincial team.
 
According to Hong Duong Khanh, international referee and member of Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation, the traditional martial arts in Khanh Hoa Province in general and Nha Trang City in particular has many favorable conditions to become one of the strong traditional martial arts centers in Vietnam. Khanh Hoa Province is the hometown of many well-known and talented masters with techniques recognized by Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation.
 
The tournaments like Nha Trang City traditional martial arts championship help the provincial traditional martial arts team to discover high quality athletes to prepare for the big tournaments in and outside the country.
